Adventure is a part of who I am.
My fascination with extreme environments and my ability to dig deep into my physical and emotional strengths have allowed me to achieve at a superhuman level, whether it be over land or sea.

Travelling from one continent to another by ocean on a small 7m rowing boat is, for me, is the ultimate adventure. I rowed the Atlantic solo and unsupported to set the world record for the fastest female East to West, in the Open Division of the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge in just 59 days.

In the mountains with snow all around is a happy place for me, especially in the Scottish mountains. The rugged terrain, and variable snow conditions make for great interesting adventures in these mountains, every time.

Mountain biking and cycle touring has given me magic adventures all over the world. My first experiences was racing in the Scottish Mountain Bike Cross Country Series and long distance, 10 and 24hour races, which I dominated for years. I then shifted to cycle touring and completed a cycle tour of Australia, New Zealand and South America, again solo and unsupported and have cycled from Land’s End to John O’Groats – 1000 miles in just 6 days.
